Esther has 14 years of experience as a registered nurse. After graduation, she completed her basic training, then went on to achieve her advance diploma in medical and surgical nursing. She was awarded the certification in wound, ostomy and continence nursing by Curtin University in 2016.
Prior to joining private practice, she worked in a local restructured hospital as a wound and ostomy nurse, providing nursing services to patients and was involved in regular training sessions for junior nurses on wound and ostomy related topics.
She enjoys assisting patients with their stoma care, educating patients on regular stoma bag changes and is passionate about fistula management.
Esther’s personal belief is that life should not stop when there is a wound or stoma. In fact she believes that we should find ways to adapt and re-invent wound care, in order to tailor to every patients’ need.
