As mentioned by Dr Grace Tan previously, it is important for us to continue to care for our cancer patients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As we continue to do our part to flatten the curve, we are mindful of our patients with cancer and those who have symptoms but are fearful to come forward for investigations and treatment. It is as important now, as always to keep on top of emerging data and this article highlights the various considerations for the management of cancer patients during these difficult times.

The Society of Surgical Oncology has provided recommendations for managing cancer cases during COVID-19 in the article attached.

Stay tuned to our websites Melissa Teo Surgery and The Surgical Oncology Clinic, as we strive to bring you up to date and relevant articles, and find ways to reach out and continue to care for our patients.
